A national Park is covering an area of 98 square kilometers in Kui Buri and Sam Roi Yod districts. This is Thailand's first National Marine Park. The topography of the area features and intricate combination of limestone turrets and pinnacles, canals and creeks and open plains which annual flood, giving rise to swampy marshland. It is home for various wild animals and over 300 species of birds, both local and migratory. For more information, please contact +66(032) 821 568. How to get there: From Hua Hin take the road no.4 (Petchakasem Road) until reach Som Rong junction at the standing kilometer-stone 286, turn left to the headquarter for about 14 kilometers. Ortherwise turn left at Pran Buri intersection at the standing kilometer-stone 256 (the route of Pran Buri - Pak Nam Pran) about 4 kilometers. And then turn right along the road no.1020 about 20 kilometers until reaching the check point. From the check point, go straight on passing Bang Pu junction, the way to Sai cave and passing Sam Bhraya Beach, you will reach the headquarter of National Park. The distance from the Petchakasem (National Highway no.4) to the National Park Headquarter is approximately 37 kilometers.

It is 400 meters north of the National Park Headquarter, with another 500 meters walk up the hill. This steep hill is one of the best locations to watch the sun-rising above the sea in Khao Daeng village, and to get a bird's eye-view of Khao Sam Roi Yod National Park.

You can take a boat in front of Khao Daeng Temple. The boat riding takes you along the side of Khao Daeng canal for 4 kilometers to admire the scenery and verious kinds of animals in the mangrove forest ecology, observing fishermen' lives and the untouched nature of the surroundings. Sai Cave:

It is located at 9 kilometers north of Khao Sam Roi Yod headquarter in Baan Khung Tanot. It is plenty of beautiful stalactites and stalagmites. Visitors can park their vehicles at the foothills and walk up to the cave for 280 meters which take about 30 minutes. Inside the cave, it is too dark, visitors should bring their own torches or flashlights or rent them in Baan Khung Tanot.

A natural habitats for wild elephants, gaurs, bantengs, sambars, bears, common barking dear, Asian tapirs, gibbons, langurs and etc. Kui Buri is a National Park that you can visit either for one day trip or camping expidition. Travelers who like more comfortable can reserve bungalows that managed by the National Park. Other outdoor activities, such as natural trails, hiking mountain to the waterfalls are available. How to get there: From Prachuap Khiri Khan city take the road no.4 (Petchakasem Road) until you reach Yang Chum junction at the standing kilometer-stone 290, turn left and continue to the road no.3217, pass Baan Rai Bon, Baan Pong Kra Sang, Baan Yang Chum for about 20 kilometers. Then turn left before you reach Yang Chum Reservoir Project and continue to passing Baan Yang Sue until the end of the village and then turn left again. You will reach the Headquarter. The distance from the National Highway no.4(Petchakasem Road) to the National Park Office is about 37 kilometers.
